RESTAURANTS (lots to choose from some of our favorites)
  1. Snook Inn: 1215 Bald Eagle Dr. – Casual dining overlooking the Marco River. Nightly entertainment at the chikee bar and excellent seafood.  Great Friday night seafood buffet.  Marco Island Landmark!!

  2. Da Vinci Ristorante:  599 S. Collier Blvd (in plaza next to movie theater) – This is just a short walk from the condo.  Very nice atmosphere and they serve seafood, pastas, pizza and traditional Italian classics. This is many of my renters favorite place to eat.

  3. Speak Easy:1106 ½ N. Collier Blvd (about ¼ mile from the bridge) – This is one of Marco Islands newer restaurants and gets rave reviews.  It has waterfront dining and great food.  There are plenty of TV’s to watch sports and they serve burgers to steak and fresh seafood.

  4. Stan’s (Goodland): This is @ 10 minutes from the condo in Goodland and if you are around on Sunday afternoon this place is a must.  Starting at @1pm they have bands, singers, and other local entertainment all set outdoors. You can have lunch outside and a few drinks.  This place is fun for all ages from 5 to 85.

  5. Little Bar Restaurant (Goodland): This is located next door to Stan’s and features an antique décor with a real Florida atmosphere. They feature steaks and fresh seafood right off the boats.

  6. Marco Island Brewery: 1089 N. Collier Blvd (in Publix strip mall). Great family restaurant, they have inside and outside dining. They have 40 beers on tap to go along with 40 TV’s. They offer seafood, steak, pizza and burgers. Try the firecracker shrimp…one our favorites. This place actually stays open later hours than most places.

  7. Crazy Flamingo:  1035 N. Collier Blvd (across from Dunkin Donuts & located in Marco Town Center Plaza) One our family favorites. They have a raw bar, sandwiches, wings and seafood. You walk up and order your food and they call your name and then bring it back to your table.

  8.  Sunset Grille: Located at the Apollo with entrance next to lobby, great food, great happy hour specials at the beach front bar.  They serve seafood to burgers.  Try the French onion soup! This is our favorite restaurant.

  9. Dolphin Tiki Bar: 1021 Anglers Cove.  Waterside bar on the Marco River.  Featuring seafood and American cuisine, meals are fresh and it’s a fun unique dining experience

  10. Sand Bar: 826 E Elkham Circle. Great breakfast, lunch or dinner.  Open 365 days a year 7am – 2am. Good food and great place to watch a game. They have a great happy hour and live entertainment as well. A local favorite!

FOR FUN
  1. Marco Movies:  599 S. Collier Blvd. @ 3 blocks north of the condo.  This is a unique concept in movie going.  Marco movies offers a menu with many things to choose from…munchies, burgers, chicken sandwiches, popcorn, candy pop, beer, and wine and they bring it right to your seat.  Very fun and different.  They offer first run movies.

  2. Everglade City:  This is about 45 minutes from the condo off US 41. There you can take a semi-private airboat ride or go out with 20 people through the everglades on the airboat.  There are dozens of different companies to choose from.  We have used Captain Doug’s in the past.

  3. Fishing on Marco: There is plenty of fishing on Marco.  I really do not fish but if you go to the marina on Bald Eagle you can find a charter boat for ¼ day, ½ and full day fishing charters.

  4. Celebration Park Naples:  2880 Becca Ave, Naples. Want to get off the Island.  8 food trucks with a different concept and a beautiful tiki bar by the water.  Live entertainment and food for everyone’s liking.

  5. Marco Golf and Garden Putt Putt Golf.  971 Winterberry Drive.  18 hole putt putt golf walking distance from the condo (behind 7-11) http://www.marcogolfandgarden.com/
